Text 4 Info is a personal SMS assistant that answers questions about theology, weather, web search results, and location information. It is operated by Titus Murphy as a private, non-commercial service.

Who this service is for

This service is intended for members of the Anabaptist community and their invited friends and family. Access is invite-only — a current user shares the service number with someone they know personally. No list, database, or contact form is used to collect numbers. The referred person initiates contact themselves by texting JOIN; no message is sent to them before they do so.

How to sign up

  1. Text JOIN to (717) 276-8579
  2. The service will reply asking for your name, how you heard about the service, and (if applicable) which Hutterite colony you are from.
  3. Your request is then queued for manual review. You will receive a confirmation message when your request is approved or declined.
  4. On approval, you will receive a message with usage instructions and the full terms you agree to by using the service.
